Manager – Commissioning & Warranty

Albwardy Damen is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Manager – Commissioning & Warranty to join our leadership team. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the transition of vessels from the final construction phase through to successful delivery and the subsequent warranty period. You will act as the bridge between production excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  Vessel Readiness & Sea Trials: Lead the planning and execution of all commissioning activities, ensuring systems (mechanical, electrical, and propulsion) meet stringent international standards and client specifications.

  Technical Leadership: Supervise a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, precision, and efficiency during the high-pressure sea trial phase.

  Post-Delivery Excellence: Manage the global warranty department, acting as the primary point of contact for ship owners to resolve technical claims and operational issues swiftly.

  Stakeholder Management: Coordinate closely with Class Societies (ABS, BV, DNV, etc.), project managers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless handovers.

  Continuous Improvement: Analyze warranty trends and feedback to provide the production and design teams with actionable insights for future vessel builds.
