Solas Marine Services Group is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Safety Planner to join our team in Qatar for a 10-month contract. This is a critical role within the Oil & Gas sector, requiring a strong background in HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) and a deep understanding of safety equipment standards. As a Safety Planner, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and scheduling all preventive and corrective inspections of safety equipment, ensuring strict adherence to BS 8437:2005 standards. You will manage inventory and tracking of critical safety gear, including Breathing Apparatus, Gas Monitors, Fall Arrestors, and PPEs. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the highest safety standards on a major Oil & Gas project in Qatar. The ideal candidate is a NEBOSH-certified professional with minimum 3 years of HSE experience, including at least 1 year in the Oil & Gas field, and strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office tools. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional looking for a focused, project-based assignment in a dynamic and demanding environment.
