Consolidated Shipping Services (CSS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Customer Service Executive to join our team in Jebel Ali, Dubai. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring seamless end-to-end shipment coordination and exceptional service delivery in the fast-paced freight forwarding industry.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries and resolving queries promptly, providing real-time shipment tracking updates, managing import and export documentation (including bills of lading, air waybills, and customs paperwork), coordinating with internal operations teams and overseas agents to ensure smooth cargo movement, and proactively communicating any delays or issues to clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records in the freight forwarding system, processing rate requests, preparing quotes for existing clients, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. As a senior executive, you will also mentor junior customer service staff and contribute to process improvements.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of air, sea, and land freight processes, exceptional problem-solving abilities, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
